Part-Time Shop Assistant

PART-TIME.
MONDAY-WEDNESDAY.
NO WEEKENDS.
ROOM TO GROW.

Be Part of a Team That Does Things Differently

At Auto Allies, we believe a great shop runs on more than good repairs. It takes communication, organization, teamwork, and people who genuinely care about the customer experience.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, stays organized, and isn’t afraid to jump in wherever they’re needed. This is a part-time, dual-role position, combining front-office customer support with light shop responsibilities.

If you’re looking for a consistent part-time schedule, a positive work environment, and an opportunity to learn the automotive business, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Do:

You’ll help keep both the front office and shop running smoothly by:

Answering incoming calls and helping customers with scheduling and service updates.
Assisting service advisors with estimates, invoices, and workflow.
Communicating with customers by phone, text, and email.
Helping keep repair orders organized and moving through the shop.
Performing Digital Vehicle Inspections and taking clear photos of customer vehicles.
Helping with customer vehicle check-ins and basic vehicle documentation.
Assisting with light shop duties such as car cleanouts, sweeping, and keeping work areas organized.
Helping with parts, inventory, loaner vehicles, and general shop organization.
Following up with customers and helping ensure they have a great experience.
Jumping in wherever needed to help the team stay productive.

What We're Looking For:

You don’t have to be an automotive expert. We can teach you the automotive side.

We’re looking for someone who:

Is friendly, dependable, and professional.
Enjoys helping people and providing great customer service.
Communicates clearly and confidently.
Is organized and pays attention to detail.
Can multitask in a busy environment.
Is comfortable using a computer and willing to learn new software.
Works well independently and as part of a team.
Is willing to get out from behind the desk and help when needed.
Takes pride in keeping things clean, organized, and running efficiently.
Has a valid driver's license.
Automotive experience or knowledge is a plus, but not required.

The right attitude matters more to us than knowing everything on day one.

Why Auto Allies?

We’re building a shop where people enjoy coming to work and where everyone plays an important role.

At Auto Allies, you’ll find:

Monday-Wednesday schedule — NO WEEKENDS.
Consistent part-time hours.
A busy, established shop with a loyal customer base.
On-the-job training.
Opportunities to learn the automotive industry.
Opportunities for growth.
A team-first, no-drama environment.
Leadership that values communication and initiative.
A clean, professional workplace.
Free snacks and drinks.
Birthday lunch of your choice + birthday cake.
A team where everyone is expected to contribute and help each other.

More Than a Front Desk Job:

This position is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn the business from the ground up.

You’ll gain experience in customer service, automotive operations, estimating, Digital Vehicle Inspections, scheduling, shop workflow, and more — with the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities as you grow.

Schedule:

Monday-Wednesday.
Part-Time.
NO WEEKENDS.
